I'm more then familer with the tools, but I also saw a hauler with enough multi spec and stabs for three ships get taken down by a gank that gave me flashbacks to the old days of MAFIA and 1007 ganks, but in Kisogo! If they're willing to throw away five or six BS at a time, there's not much that can be done. The alpha strike usually erases your ship.
Apparently you are not aware of the tools, he's not talking about fittings or even the ship you fly.
Here's one of them, and this one "tool" will get you past 99% of the ganks that occur in Jita/Ours/Rens.

In fact, if you see one BS sitting there with a hauler not moving, they're probably there to gate gank, it's fairly easy to see.

You: Well, since I'm not a greedy git, I'll give you a little bit of cash for your time, should only take 30 minutes and since what I am hauling is valuable enough to apparently come running to the forums, surely I can compensate you for what you would have earned ratting in that time, in fact, I can probably double it.
